Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a Permanent Waitlist Officer – Endoscopy in Melbourne to support the Planned Surgery Management Team. You will manage waiting lists, update the PAS Waiting List Screen, and coordinate patient admissions for procedures at the Fitzroy location.

The role requires healthcare admin experience, familiarity with patient administration systems, and MS Office proficiency; Endoscopy clerical experience is preferred. Salary range applies.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in administration in a healthcare role.
• Experience with patient administration systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Desirable: Endoscopy clerical experience.
• Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process waiting list forms from clinics and other areas within DHHS policies.
• Accurately create, record and update the Waiting List Screen on PAS.
• Contact patients and schedule admission for procedures.
• Schedule appointments including pre-admission and anaesthetic clinics and related investigations.
