Job summary

Journey Early Learning North Mackay is seeking a warm Permanent Educator to join our Nursery team. You will help create a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure and supported to learn and grow, building meaningful relationships with children and families.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, up to 37.5 hours per week, supporting routines and documentation while collaborating with your Lead Educator and the centre team to deliver high-quality early learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience working with babies or Nursery environment preferred.
• Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain).
• Completed National Child Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Create nurturing, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.

Permanent Educator | North Mackay

Journey Early Learning North Mackay is looking for a warm and passionate Permanent Educator to join our Nursery team.

You’ll play an important role in creating a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure and supported to learn and grow. Build meaningful relationships with children and families while working alongside a supportive team that values responsive care and quality early learning.

Permanent Position | Nursery Room | Monday to Friday | Up to 37.5 hours per week.

About the Role

As an Educator in our Nursery, you’ll:
