Job summary

Journey Bendigo South is seeking a passionate Permanent Educator to join our Bendigo South centre. You’ll help create a warm, engaging learning space where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn.

You’ll work with Centre Leadership to deliver high-quality early learning experiences, supported to grow your skills in a positive, values-led workplace.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-recognised qualification required for early childhood education.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications are required.
• Strong communication and collaborative teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines across the service.
• Provide warm, responsive, child-led care.
• Create sensory-rich, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Observe and document children’s strengths, interests and development.
• Maintain high health, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a joyful, supportive environment.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards.

About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Permanent Educator to join our Bendigo South centre. In this role, you’ll help create a warm, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

As part of the Journey family, you’ll work collaboratively with your team and Centre Leadership to deliver high‑quality early learning experiences. You’ll be supported to grow your skills, strengthen your practice, and feel confident in a positive, values‑led workplace.
