Job summary

Journey Early Learning Wollert is seeking a Cert3 or Diploma Permanent Educator to support planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children in our 94-place centre.

This permanent part-time role across 5 days, Monday to Friday, offers a warm, supportive team environment with opportunities to lead age-specific routines and engage with families.

Qualifications

• ACECQA recognised Cert3 or Diploma or higher.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high health & safety standards at all times.
• Facilitate learning experiences for the group of children.
• Assist in observing and evaluating children’s strengths and interests.

About the role

This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across 5 days, Monday to Friday.

As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children’s learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children
• Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences
• Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.
• Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment

About you

You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.

Key skills and requirements:

• An ACECQA recognised Cert3 or Diploma or higher
• Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
