Job summary

Journey Early Learning Ocean Grove is seeking a passionate Permanent Educator to support planning, implementing and evaluating learning programs for children. This part-time role covers 5 days, Monday to Friday, at our Ocean Grove centre, joining a welcoming team focused on connection, care and community.

You will foster relationships with children, families and the local community, guide learning, and contribute to a warm, supportive teaching environment with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• ACECQA recognised Cert3 or Diploma or higher.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children.
• Assist in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences.
• Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.
• Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment.

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Permanent Educator to join our team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for our children.

About the role

This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across 5 days, Monday to Friday.

As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children’s learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector.

You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.

Key skills and requirements:

• An ACECQA recognised Cert3, Diploma or higher
• Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
