Job summary
The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Parkville, VIC, invites an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the Scrub/Scout workforce within a large perioperative environment. You will work with the Nurse Unit Manager, ANUMs, educators and multidisciplinary teams to drive high-quality patient care, staff development and wellbeing.
You will oversee ANUM portfolios, contribute to operational planning, service improvement and KPI achievement, and support safe, efficient perioperative care across 16
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing.
- At least four years' senior perioperative nursing experience.
- Strong leadership, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for the Scrub/Scout workforce.
- Support patient flow, quality and safety initiatives.
- Lead and support staff development, wellbeing and education.
- Coordinate and oversee ANUM portfolios and improvement projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Support workforce planning, resource management and achievement of service KPIs.
