Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists RANZCOG in Melbourne seeks an experienced HR Generalist for a 0.8 FTE parental leave position. The role covers end-to-end HR support, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and policy development, working closely with People Leaders and staff across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR generalist or talent management practitioner.
• Proven ability to apply employment law across Australia and Aotearoa NZ.
• Experience using HRIS systems, with ELMO preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with managers and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide generalist HR support across recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance, remuneration and offboarding.
• Offer expert guidance to leaders on HR policies and best practices.
• Manage employee relations, performance and disciplinary matters.
• Collaborate with Leaders and executives to improve morale and retention.
• Maintain HR data in ELMO and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Support development and implementation of HR initiatives aligned with College goals.
• Prepare HR metrics and coordinate compliance reporting.
