Job summary

RANZCOG Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in Melbourne is seeking an experienced HR generalist for a 0.8FTE 12-month parental leave position. The role covers end-to-end HR, policy development, and workplace relations, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

The successful candidate will provide practical support to people leaders and employees across Australia and NZ, contributing to an inclusive workplace and strong people management practices.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Australian and NZ employment laws and modern HR practices.
• Experience as HR generalist or in talent management.
• Experience with HRIS, with ELMO experience highly regarded.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end HR support across Australia and NZ, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance, learning and development, remuneration, WHS, and offboarding.
