Job summary

Medibank Private Limited is seeking a People Technology & Automation Analyst to join People Services in Melbourne. You will improve everyday processes, build AI-enabled digital experiences using Power Platform, and partner with People & Culture to reduce manual effort.

The role emphasizes inclusive, secure, and scalable solutions with strong stakeholder collaboration. You will design, test, and iterate digital services, map journeys, and deploy solutions that make the team’s work easier and more

Qualifications

• Experience designing digital solutions for People & Culture processes using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Experience creating AI agents or conversational solutions for enterprise platforms.
• Strong process analysis, journey mapping and requirements gathering.
• Understanding of APIs, connectors, data models, and solution deployment in People & Culture.
• Experience with privacy, security, data governance, and responsible AI around people data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with People & Culture to understand needs and improve daily experiences with digital solutions.
• Map service journeys, identify simplification opportunities, and design scalable processes.
• Create AI-enabled experiences that provide timely, clear and consistent support.
• Test solutions with users, iterate based on feedback and usage data.
• Monitor performance, address issues quickly, and ensure secure, accessible deployments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable adoption and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for a People Technology & Automation Analyst to join People Services and improve how our People & Culture team experiences everyday processes, systems and services. You’ll put People & Culture colleagues at the heart of change by listening to their needs and turning process pain points into simple, scalable digital experiences. Using Microsoft Power Platform and approved AI capabilities, you’ll partner with stakeholders supporting People & Culture to reduce manual effort and make everyday work easier for the team.

The opportunity

Work with People & Culture colleagues and leaders to understand their needs and improve their everyday experience of people processes and services

Listen to feedback, map People & Culture service journeys and identify opportunities to make team processes simpler and more human

Create helpful digital and AI experiences that give People & Culture colleagues timely, clear and consistent support

Turn People & Culture needs and service challenges into practical solutions that are easy for the team to use and scale

Connect People & Culture information and services so the team can access what they need with less effort

Involve People & Culture users in testing and continuously improve solutions based on their feedback and experience

Monitor how People & Culture solutions are working and respond quickly when colleagues encounter issues or barriers

Design inclusive and trusted People & Culture experiences that protect privacy, support accessibility and use AI responsibly

Build confidence across People & Culture through demonstrations, coaching and clear guidance that supports new ways of working

About you

You’re naturally curious about how People & Culture work gets done and how it could work better. You enjoy listening to colleagues, solving service problems and using technology to improve the experience of the team.

You’ll ideally bring:

Experience designing and delivering digital solutions for People & Culture processes or services using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint

Experience creating AI agents or conversational solutions that support People & Culture teams, using Copilot Studio or similar enterprise platforms

Strong process analysis, journey mapping and requirements-gathering skills, with the ability to understand People & Culture needs

An understanding of APIs, connectors, data models, permissions and solution deployment in a People & Culture environment

Experience testing, monitoring and supporting People & Culture workflows and digital services

Working knowledge of privacy, security, data governance and responsible AI, particularly when handling people information

Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across People & Culture

Experience working with people processes, HR systems or employee services

A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience, with Microsoft Power Platform certification desirable
