Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. is seeking a People Services Lead to head a high-performing HR shared services function supporting employees and leaders across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the People Operations Leader, you will shape service delivery, technology adoption and employee experience initiatives in a global organisation. You will lead a dispersed People Services team, drive continuous improvement, automate processes and collaborate with the HR Systems team to maximise SAP

Qualifications

• Led HR Shared Services, People Operations or Employee Services in medium to large organisations.
• Experience delivering operational transformation or process improvement programs.
• Experience supporting blue-collar, field service, manufacturing or mining workforces.

• Lead and develop a nationally dispersed People Services team with a service-excellence focus.
• Drive automation, simplification of people processes and efficiency improvements.
• Partner with HR Systems to maximise SAP SuccessFactors adoption and self-service.
• Lead strategic People & Capability projects with stakeholder engagement and compliance.
• Provide expert HR advisory support to employees and leaders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service delivery models and self-service solutions.
• Establish and monitor service measures and customer satisfaction using data.

About the Role:

Join Liebherr-Australia as our People Services Lead and take the lead in delivering a high-performing HR shared services function that supports employees and leaders across the business. This is an opportunity to influence the future direction of People Operations within a global organisation, shaping service delivery, technology adoption and employee experience initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the People Operations Leader, this newly created leadership role will play a pivotal part in streamlining processes, expanding self-service capability, improving employee experiences and driving operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to shape how People Services are delivered across the business while leading a capable team through the next phase of growth and transformation. Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a nationally dispersed high-performing People Services team, fostering capability, collaboration and service excellence.

Drive continuous improvement, automation, and simplification of people processes to enhance efficiency and the employee experience.

Partner with the HR Systems team to maximise adoption and value from SAP SuccessFactors, leveraging technology to reduce manual activity and increase employee and manager self-service.

Lead and deliver strategic People & Capability projects, ensuring successful outcomes, stakeholder engagement and compliance requirements are met.

Provide expert HR advisory support and guidance to employees and leaders across a broad range of people-related matters.

Partner with internal stakeholders to optimise service delivery models, strengthen self-service solutions, and improve operational effectiveness.

Establish and monitor service measures, team performance metrics and customer satisfaction indicators, using data to drive decision making and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

Demonstrated success leading HR Shared Services, People Operations or Employee Services teams within medium to large, multi-site organisations.

Experience leading operational transformation, service redesign, process optimisation or continuous improvement programs.

Demonstrated experience supporting blue-collar, trade-based, field service, manufacturing, mining, engineering or industrial workforces.

Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments, HR compliance requirements, and employee lifecycle processes.

Demonstrated ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Well-developed stakeholder engagement and customer service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.

Experience driving process optimisation, system utilisation, audits and continuous improvement initiatives within a people function.
