Zoos Victoria is seeking an experienced People Experience Business Partner on a fixed-term basis through to 30 June 2027. Based in Parkville with regular attendance at Werribee and Healesville, the role offers a hybrid arrangement (approx.

3 days onsite / 2 days WFH) to support a diverse portfolio across operations and corporate functions. You will deliver practical HR advice across the lifecycle, manage ER/IR matters in a unionised setting, coach frontline managers, and drive workforce planning

Qualificações

• Strong generalist HRBP experience across portfolios.
• Sound ER/IR capability handling complex matters.
• Experience partnering with frontline/operational workforces.
• Experience in a unionised environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coaching skills.
• Ability to build credibility and work independently.
• Adapt partnering style to different stakeholder groups.
• Strong judgement, problem-solving and resilience.
• Good HR systems capability; willingness to learn Dayforce.
• Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide practical, trusted HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
• Manage employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Work confidently within a unionised environment.
• Coach frontline managers during the new operating model transition.
• Support managers with performance, grievances and complex people matters.
• Advise on employment legislation, EBAs, awards and instruments.
• Support workforce planning, organisational change and culture initiatives.
• Provide broader HR support across recruitment and day-to-day people matters.
• Navigate HR systems and Dayforce implementation.
• Contribute to People Experience projects and the new operating model.
