Job summary

Racing Victoria Group is seeking a Business Partner – People & Performance to provide trusted advice and deliver best-practice people outcomes across the organisation. This is a full-time fixed-term contract based at our Flemington head office and runs to 30 September 2027.

You will partner with senior leaders to attract and onboard talent, strengthen workforce planning and help deliver high-quality outcomes across the employee lifecycle, including engagement and inclusive culture

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
• Hands-on recruitment experience including advertising, sourcing, interviewing and offers.
• Experience delivering onboarding and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Manager – People & Performance to implement practical people strategies and initiatives.
• Coordinate recruitment activities across the business, including role scoping, advertising, candidate management, selection and offers.
• Partner with leaders to deliver effective onboarding and a positive experience for new employees.
• Coach and support leaders across workforce planning, performance, development, remuneration and other key stages of the employee lifecycle.
• Contribute to employee engagement, retention, recognition and culture initiatives across Racing Victoria Group.
• Provide timely, practical advice on people and employee relations matters, escalating complex issues where appropriate.
