Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking an experienced HR professional for a varied generalist role in Western Australia. You will work with leaders and stakeholders to provide practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on talent succession, wellbeing and continuous improvement.

You will own day-to-day people matters while contributing to larger initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support organisational objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a coordinator or generalist HR position.
• Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation and awards.
• Experience coordinating performance, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and pragmatic, solutions-focused advice.
• Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice across performance, conduct, attendance and workplace matters.
• Coordinate employee relations processes, including performance management and grievances.
• Support workplace wellbeing initiatives and policies.
• Assist with annual performance reviews and employee engagement activities.
• Develop, review and maintain HR policies and documentation.
• Support reporting, compliance obligations, and audits.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve the employee experience.
• Contribute to broader People projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
