Job summary

Foodchain is seeking a People & Culture Manager in Perth for a part-time role (~20 hours/week). You will report to the owners and develop the HR function from scratch while handling the full HR lifecycle with occasional guidance from a consultant. This is a WA based, hands-on position designed to shape culture and processes.

The role focuses on payroll, employee relations, WHS compliance, and HR administration, with scope to implement improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HR function independently.
• Knowledge of employment relations and WHS laws.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary contact for all HR and payroll related matters
• Supporting culture, engagement and retention initiatives
• Providing advice on ER and performance issues
• Fortnightly Payroll processing and management
• Ensuring all HR administration processes are up to date

Foodchain is a WA owned and operated Food Service business based in Osborne Park. Due to significant growth, we are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to join our team.

The Role

The People and Culture Manager will be employed on a part-time basis (approx. 20 hours per week). Reporting directly to the two owners, this newly created role will see you working across the full HR life cycle. It provides an opportunity to make the role your own and build the HR function from scratch, whilst also having a consultant in place for guidance.

Experience

• Knowledge of employment relations and workplace practices including WHS laws
• Managing an HR function independently
• Experience supporting organisation through change or transformation
• Experience working with Pronto would be ideal but not essential

Qualification

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
