Job summary

Cricket Victoria seeks a People and Culture Advisor to join our Employee Experience team on a permanent basis, four days per week, commencing January 2027. You will lead recruitment, partner with business units, and drive a best-in-class employee experience across the lifecycle.

The role focuses on talent management, change initiatives, health & wellbeing, and WHS coordination, with an inclusive, fast-paced culture. A Working With Children Check is essential.

Qualifications

• HR generalist experience.
• Sound judgement with practical advice to employees and leaders.
• Organised, adaptable and action oriented.
• Able to juggle priorities with pace and precision.
• Builds relationships based on trust and respect.
• Synthesises business insights to recommend actions.
• Fosters collaboration, inclusion and a sense of fun.
• Cricket experience isn’t essential; curiosity and initiative count.
• Working With Children Check (Employee) is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection aligned with CV’s ideals and workforce needs.
• Partner with key business units to support employee experience.
• Enhance employee experience across onboarding to offboarding using data-driven insights.
• Support talent management, succession planning, and learning & development initiatives.
• Contribute to organisational change including restructures and policy implementation.
• Support employee engagement survey action planning.
• Lead health & wellbeing, social, and staff benefit programs.
• Act as WHS Committee Secretary and coordinate WHS activities including return-to-work and Workers’ Compensation.
