Job summary

Mitchelton State High School is seeking a passionate Pedagogy Coach to strengthen teaching practice across the school. You will work with teachers and leaders to embed the Teaching and Learning Framework, model evidence-informed strategies and support professional growth for staff.

The role focuses on explicit teaching, differentiation, assessment, feedback and student engagement, with a key emphasis on collaborative PLC development and reflective practice to drive student success.

Qualifications

• Must hold a teaching qualification and current/full registration or eligibility for full registration in Queensland.
• Blue Card exemption is required for working with children in Queensland.
• Demonstrated ability to translate educational research into practical classroom strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional coaching to teachers to implement the Teaching and Learning Framework.
• Conduct classroom observations, modelling and feedback to improve teaching practice.
• Support development and implementation of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
• Assist staff to use evidence-informed strategies to raise student engagement and outcomes.
