Mitchelton State High School is seeking a passionate Pedagogy Coach to strengthen teaching practice across the school. You will work with teachers and leaders to embed the Teaching and Learning Framework, model evidence-informed strategies and support professional growth for staff.

The role focuses on explicit teaching, differentiation, assessment, feedback and student engagement, with a key emphasis on collaborative PLC development and reflective practice to drive student success.

• Must hold a teaching qualification and current/full registration or eligibility for full registration in Queensland.
• Blue Card exemption is required for working with children in Queensland.
• Demonstrated ability to translate educational research into practical classroom strategies.

Through instructional coaching, classroom observations, modelling, feedback and professional learning, the successful applicant will support teachers to refine their practice in explicit teaching, differentiation, assessment, feedback and student engagement. The role will also contribute to the development of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), supporting staff to collaboratively examine student learning evidence, share effective practices and evaluate the impact of teaching on student outcomes.Central to this position is a commitment to building trust, strengthening professional relationships and empowering teachers to take ownership of their professional growth.
