Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a PCB Designer at its Redmond office to design and optimize in-house boards, collaborating with Hardware Development Engineers on schematics and iterating layouts for RF and power conversion applications.

You will contribute to diverse design mixes from radio phased arrays to solar power converters, ensuring manufacturability and testability while advancing SpaceX Starlink hardware initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent professional experience in PCB layout.
• Experience with PCB layout across analog, digital and RF domains.
• Familiar with design for manufacturability and test.

Responsibilities

• Determine layer stackup, component placement, routing feasibility and signal routing for PCBs.
• Library creation and maintenance.
• Create and release fabrication documentation for PCBs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and PCB vendors to improve guidelines.
• Utilize PCB design tools and train team members to use them.
