Job summary

McArthur Aged Care in partnership with a Not-for-Profit provider is seeking Personal Care Assistants to attend elderly clients in Ryde and surrounding suburbs. This role offers a path to permanent part-time work and the chance to support clients to live safely at home.

• Must have current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• NSW driver's license with reliable vehicle.
• Working with Children Check (Employee Card) or willingness to obtain one.
• One of the following qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Home & Community Care; or Certificate IV in Disability or Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing (or completion of first-year studies).

McArthur Aged Care has partnered with a highly regarded Not-for-Profit Aged Care Provider to find passionate and qualified aged care professionals. Together, we support elderly and frail clients who wish to remain living independently in their own homes.

We currently have multiple opportunities for Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in Ryde and surrounding suburbs

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working with a leading Not-for-Profit aged care provider.

About the Role

• Must be available for a minimum of 3 days - Monday, Wednesday and Friday - or a full week of work
• Deliver essential services to elderly clients in your local community
• Work for a leading Not-for-Profit organisation
• Be a vital link between home and community, improving client wellbeing

To be Successful in this Role, You Will Have:

• A positive attitude and genuine passion for aged care
• NSW driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive insurance
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
• Working with Children Check (Employee Card) or willingness to obtain one
• One of the following qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Home & Community Care; or Certificate IV in Disability or Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing (or completion of first-year studies)
• Excellent communication skills with strong spoken and written English
• Other languages are highly regarded
