Job summary

McArthur Aged Care is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support elderly and frail clients in Ballarat, helping them remain living independently at home.

This Not-for-Profit role offers a paid hourly rate of AU$46.18, weekly pay, travel time and travel allowance, plus AU$1.05 per km. A minimum of 4 hours per rostered day is guaranteed, with potential progression to permanent part-time for the right performer.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and genuine passion for aged care.
• Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with a 6-hour block between 09:00 and 17:00.
• Victorian driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• One of the following qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care; or Certificate IV in Disability.

McArthur Aged Care has partnered with a highly regarded Not-for-Profit Aged Care Provider to find a passionate and qualified aged care professional. Together, we support elderly and frail clients who wish to remain living independently in their own homes.

We currently have an opportunity for a Personal Care Assistant across the Ballarat area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working with a leading Not-for-Profit aged care provider.
