Job summary

McArthur Aged Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home and community care for elderly clients in Bayswater, Rowville, Ringwood, Scoresby and surrounding outer eastern suburbs. The role requires Cert III/IV in Aged Care, a Victorian Driver's Licence, and valid checks, with immunisations and First Aid/CPR up to date.

We offer 4 hours guaranteed per day of availability, weekly pay at $46.18 per hour plus 12% super, and travel time paid at $1.01 per km.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Aged Care, IV in Individual Support or equivalent
• Full Victorian Drivers Licence
• Clear Police Check
• Working with Children Check (employee)
• Reliable car with registration and insurance
• Immunisation history with 3 COVID vaccinations and a 2022/2023 flu vaccination
• Current First Aid & CPR training
• Full working rights
• Previous experience in Aged Care
• Availability for at least 6hrs/day, 3 days/week (Mon–Fri)

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care to elderly clients
• Help clients stay independent at home
• Follow individual care plans and document care
• Travel to clients in Bayswater, Rowville, Ringwood, Scoresby and surrounding outer eastern suburbs

We are looking for Personal Care Assistants that can provide an exceptional level of care and support to elderly, frail clients who wish to remain living independently in the community.

All candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Cert III in Aged Care, IV in Individual Support or equivalent
• Full Victorian Drivers Licence
• Clear Police Check
• Working with Children's Check - employee
• A reliable car with valid registration and insurance
• Immunisation History which shows 3 COVID vaccinations and a 2022/2023 flu vaccination
• Current First Aid & CPR training
• Full working rights
• Previous expereince working within Aged Care
• Availability for at least 6hrs per day between 8am - 5pm on a minimum of 3 days per week (Mon to Fri)
