Job summary

YMCA Head Office in Fortitude Valley is seeking a Payroll Implementation Project Manager for an 18‑month full‑time contract. You will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of our payroll system replacement, managing governance, procurement, integrations, data migration and cutover with senior stakeholders.

You will oversee testing, change readiness and transition to operations, ensuring accuracy, risk controls and timely delivery across the organisation. A collaborative, mission‑driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll/system implementation projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of payroll operations and controls.
• Proven ability to manage documentation: plans, RAID, governance, testing, migration and cutover.

Responsibilities

• Govern project scope, schedule and budget and report on progress.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, vendors and partners across all workstreams.
• Lead business requirements workshops with key stakeholders and CPO involvement.
• Direct solution design, market evaluation, procurement and vendor selection.
• Oversee data migration, integrations, testing, cutover and go-live activities.
• Drive user readiness, training and adoption with change stakeholders.
