Job summary

The Y Australia is seeking a Payroll Implementation Project Manager to lead an 18-month fixed-term project in Brisbane. You will own end-to-end delivery of the payroll system replacement, coordinating plan, requirements, procurement, design, integrations, data migration, testing and cutover, with a focus on risk and controls.

You will manage stakeholder engagement, partner management, and change readiness while ensuring successful go-lives and post-implementation transition across the HR

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex payroll/workforce management system implementations end-to-end.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, schedules and budgets across internal stakeholders and partners.
• Strong understanding of payroll operations and implementation risks in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record in data migration, testing, cutover and go-live activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project governance for the Payroll System Replacement project, including scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate workstreams with internal stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Define business requirements and run workshops with leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement, solution design, and vendor selection for the payroll system.
• Direct integration and data migration efforts across SuccessFactors, the new payroll system and HRIS.
• Lead testing, validation, cutover and post-go-live transition activities.
• Drive user readiness, training and communications for adoption.
