Job summary

Agrifutures is seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Administrator to join a large, well-established organisation investing in people, systems and technology. You will support a complex payroll environment, collaborating with Payroll, HR and stakeholders to maintain, optimise and continuously improve payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll systems administration or payroll systems support experience.
• Exposure to enterprise payroll platforms, ideally within a large or complex environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and legislative requirements.
• Experience supporting system upgrades, testing and enhancement projects.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support payroll system configuration and administration activities.
• Troubleshoot system-related issues and provide ongoing user support.
• Assist with testing, upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce payroll reporting, data analysis and workforce-related insights.
• Ensure data integrity, system compliance and best practice processes are maintained.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and implement system improvements.
• Support documentation, process mapping and change management activities.
• Liaise with external vendors and technology partners where required.
