Job summary

AGL is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support daily payroll operations for over 4,000 employees across five areas and three payroll cycles. This 24-month, full-time role is based in Sydney, offering hybrid work options and opportunities to contribute to accurate entitlement payments, data integrity, and process improvements within a collaborative Payroll team.

• Understand end-to-end payroll processes from starter to termination.
• Experience with year-end reconciliations and financial postings.
• Ability to process STP reconciliations and annual remuneration reviews.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely payment of all entitlements.
• Prepare data inputs to safeguard payroll outcomes.
• Support year-end processes and wage/incentive reviews.
• Provide reliable service to employees and partners within agreed timeframes.
• Analyze pay results to resolve issues and escalate when needed.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement in payroll processes.
