Job summary

Martian Logic is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a client-facing pre-sales role in a SaaS environment. You will explain payroll and compliance strengths to mid-market prospects, guiding decisions and supporting the sales team.

You will translate complex requirements into compelling business cases, highlighting awards, STP, and screening capabilities. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Australia with lucrative earning potential.

Qualifications

• Solid payroll experience, ideally gained at a payroll provider, bureau, or software company.
• Confidence explaining payroll and compliance concepts to HR and Finance decision-makers.
• Enjoyment of client-facing, consultative conversations.
• Interest in moving into SaaS / technology pre-sales.
• Collaborative style and strong communication skills.
• Understanding of Australian awards and Single Touch Payroll (STP).

Responsibilities

• Bring payroll knowledge into pre-sales conversations and product demonstrations.
• Translate complex payroll and compliance requirements into clear business cases.
• Position Australian compliance capabilities (awards, STP, screening) as a differentiator.
• Partner closely with the sales team to progress opportunities.
• Contribute specialist insights to proposals and client presentations.
