Job summary

LagardèreAWPL, a leading travel retail operator across Australia and New Zealand, seeks a detailed payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll for NZ and AU employees. You will handle fortnightly pays, journals, and payroll system maintenance while ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years NZ/AU payroll experience, knowledge of awards, KiwiSaver, and superannuation, and proficiency with Payroll/HRIS and T&A systems.

Qualifications

• NZ & AU payroll processing for 2–3 years across 500–700 employees.
• Knowledge of NZ awards, KiwiSaver, leave entitlements and superannuation.
• Proven accuracy and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
• Experience using Payroll/HRIS and T&A systems.

Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly pays for NZ employees and AU payroll.
• Prepare and post bank and payroll journals in Business Central and SAP.
• Maintain Payroll Inbox emails and IRD Portal messages.
• Reconcile and lodge IRD PAYE; update master files.
