Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a Redbank-based manufacturer in the Ipswich area to recruit a Payroll Officer with New Zealand payroll experience. This 3-4 month temporary role offers an immediate start, weekly pay and a hybrid work arrangement (2 days WFH after training).

• Update and maintain accurate employee records.
• Perform reconciliations, audit checks and resolve data discrepancies.
• Interpret relevant legislation, awards and contracts.
• Prepare and lodge statutory returns and superannuation/tax disbursements.

Randstad is pleased to be partnering with a manufacturing business based in Redbank in the Ipswich area. They are seeking a Payroll Officer with New Zealand payroll experience to join their team on a 3-4 month initial temporary basis, with the view for permanency.

About the role:

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your primary responsibility will be processing New Zealand pays on a weekly and monthly basis, while assisting with Australian payroll processing. Your duties will include:

• Processing end-to-end payroll across NZ and AU operations
• Updating and maintaining accurate employee records
• Reconciliation, audit checks, and resolving data discrepancies Interpreting relevant legislation, awards, agreements, and contracts
• Preparing and lodging statutory returns and superannuation/tax disbursements Handling inquiries and resolving payroll-related issues promptly

About you:

• 2+ years experience in a payroll position
• Experience with New Zealand payroll processing (essential)
• Knowledge of awards, agreements, and payroll legislation
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Full and unlimited Australian working rights
