Job summary

NRW Holdings in Perth is seeking a Payroll Officer to support accurate, timely payroll across multiple entities. The role is hands-on, involving entering and checking timesheets, maintaining employee records, and helping the wider team meet payroll deadlines.

This position is ideal for an experienced payroll or administration professional looking to develop a career in payroll. Training and support will be provided, with hybrid work options after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll or administration, including data entry.
• Strong data-entry speed and accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with PayGlobal is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Enter and review a high volume of employee timesheets.
• Check timesheets and payroll information for accuracy and approvals.
• Follow up missing or incorrect timesheet information.
• Assist with payroll processing across multiple entities.
• Set up new employees and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Process employee changes, leave, allowances and deductions.
• Respond to payroll enquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with payroll calculations, reconciliations, reporting and audits.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance and operations teams.
• Support the wider payroll team during busy periods.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
