Job summary

Icon Oncology Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our payroll team at the National Head Office on the CBD fringe in Brisbane. You will manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll for Australia and New Zealand staff, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Awards and enterprise agreements.

You will maintain employee records, respond to payroll queries, and drive continuous improvement of payroll processes with strong stakeholder collaboration across Cancer Care, Pharmacy,

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience with knowledge of Awards and EA.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience interpreting payroll legislation and providing payroll advice.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as iChris/Chris21 or Humanforce.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee payroll records and lifecycle transactions.
• Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and payroll legislation for compliance.
• Review, reconcile, and resolve payroll data discrepancies.
• Provide payroll support to employees, managers, and stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
