Job summary

Paras & Partners in Sydney is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to oversee the end-to-end payroll function in a fast-paced, growing organisation. The role suits a detail-driven professional who thrives on system improvements and compliance.

You will manage full payroll cycles, ensure PAYG, superannuation, STP reporting, and payroll tax obligations, and partner with Finance and HR to drive accurate data and process efficiencies. Hands-on experience with Employment Hero is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll in a complex business environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and payroll systems.
• Hands-on experience with Employment Hero.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full payroll cycle ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation including PAYG, superannuation, STP reporting and payroll tax obligations.
• Lead payroll reporting, reconciliations and end of month processes.
• Partner closely with Finance and HR to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processes.
• Drive payroll process improvements and system efficiencies.
