Job summary

St Vincent's Hospital Sydney is seeking a Payroll Services Officer to join the Payroll, People and Culture team. This permanent full-time role supports payroll delivery for over 4000 staff and reports to the Payroll Services Team Leader.

The position offers flexible work with two days of work-from-home per week and opportunities to contribute to process improvements within a renowned health precinct. Applicants should have experience in a high-volume payroll environment and knowledge of health

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an internal payroll team in a complex high-volume environment.
  • Exposure to CHRIS 21 or similar payroll system.
  • Exposure to an automated time and attendance system, preferably Kronos or similar.
  • Experience with Health awards/agreements or worked in an area with complex award conditions across multiple agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide payroll service delivery to over 4000 employees at the hospital.
  • Report to the Payroll Services Team Leader and be part of a team of 7.
  • Ensure high accuracy in accordance with health service policies and industrial frameworks.
  • Act as a key point of contact for a range of internal stakeholders across the hospital.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality of payroll service delivery.
  • Work flexibly, with 2 days working from home each week.
