Job summary

St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is seeking a Physiotherapist (Level 3) for a permanent full-time role within our Allied Health Team. You will work across general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, ICU, maternity and paediatrics, with opportunities in RITH and lymphoedema services.

The hospital is a large acute facility, offering supportive colleagues, a busy environment and a focus on patient-centred care and professional development. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a private hospital or acute facility.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centred care and professionalism.
  • Experience across clinical areas: cardiac, medical and surgical, ICU, orthopaedics and rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment across multiple clinical areas.
  • Collaborate with the Allied Health team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to rehabilitation in the home (RITH) and lymphoedema services where appropriate.
  • Support and participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care planning.

About the Opportunity

Join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba team as a Physiotherapist (Level 3) in our Allied Health Team. This is a permanent full-time role, and you will be pivotal in ensuring quality outcomes for patients in a friendly and caring atmosphere. Our physiotherapy team operates across the following areas: general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, emergency department, intensive care, maternity and paediatrics, cardiac and neurology. We also provide rehabilitation in the home (RITH) and lymphoedema services.

St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
