Job summary

KONE is seeking an experienced Payroll Services Manager to lead the payroll function across Australia and New Zealand (KANZ). The role focuses on accurate, timely delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of payroll processes.

You will lead a payroll team, manage complex issues, and drive automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency and the employee experience across a large multinational organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience leading a payroll team in a complex Australian environment.
• Experience managing payroll in New Zealand is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, modern awards, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and leave entitlements.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a payroll team in a multi-site setting.
• Expertise in payroll governance, compliance, audits, systems optimisation and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

• Lead end-to-end payroll delivery across Australia and New Zealand with accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop a high-performing payroll team, establish clear accountability and service standards.
• Own payroll governance, compliance, risk management and robust controls.
• Drive payroll transformation using technology and data in partnership with stakeholders.
