Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst Team Lead to manage audit and compliance activities and lead historical payroll analysis across systems. The Brisbane-based role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office and will supervise a small payroll team.

You will liaise between Payroll, HR, IT and Legal, driving payroll remediation and ensuring accurate reconciliations of entitlements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years end-to-end payroll experience.
  • Experience supervising/leading a team.
  • Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas.
  • Experience with Aurion or PeopleSoft desirable.
  • Strong communication across levels and ability to translate technical concepts into plain English.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll audit and compliance activities.
  • Lead historical payroll analysis and reconciliation of entitlements across systems and records.
  • Supervise a team of Senior Payroll Analysts and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Liaise between Payroll, HR, IT and Legal to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate payroll testing, defect tracking and status updates.

The opportunityReporting to the Australia and New Zealand Payroll Manager, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst Team Lead to manage audit and compliance activities and lead historical payroll analysis and reconciliation of entitlements across systems, employee records, and employment conditions. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who quickly understands payroll environments and effectively liaises between Payroll, HR, IT, and Legal.
