Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Payroll Officer to support our centralised payroll function and perform end-to-end payroll processing using Aurion and PeopleSoft. This role is based in Brisbane, with a hybrid work model.

You will assist with payroll processing, maintain records, handle leave transactions, respond to payroll inquiries, and prepare payroll reports. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and Australian citizenship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience
• Experience with Aurion and PeopleSoft desirable
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and process improvement
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Australian Citizenship required

We are seeking a Payroll Officer to support our centralised payroll function and perform end-to-end payroll processing using both Aurion and Peoplesoft. This role is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end payroll processing
• Maintaining payroll records and employee data
• Processing leave, payroll records and employee data
• Responding to payroll enquiries both written and verbal
• Preparing payroll reports and maintaining payroll documentation
• Experience with EOFY payroll process is desirable

Experience/Qualifications

• Immediately available for a start (highly desirable)
• 2+ years\' hands-on payroll experience
• Previous experience using Aurion and PeopleSoft desirable
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, strive for results and process improvement
• Strong excel skills (Minimum of intermediate or advanced
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with others
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Must be an Australian Citizen
