Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia seeks an experienced Payroll Analyst Team Lead to manage audit and compliance activities, and to lead historical payroll analysis and reconciliation across systems and records. The role communicates across Payroll, HR, IT and Legal, guiding a small team and coordinating office presence in Brisbane.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years end-to-end payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Aurion or PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years end-to-end payroll experience.
• Previous supervisory, team lead, or management experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with complex formulas.
• Experience with Aurion and/or PeopleSoft desirable.
• Payroll project management experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit and compliance activities for payroll.
• Manage historical payroll analysis and reconciliation of entitlements across systems and records.
• Liaise between Payroll, HR, IT and Legal.
• Supervise a team of 2 Senior Payroll Analysts; delegate tasks and attend cross-functional meetings.
• Handle internal escalations and complex payroll scenarios.
• Communicate clearly at all levels, translating technical concepts into plain English.
