Optimum Consulting is seeking a Payroll Officer for a large industrial business in Acacia Ridge. You’ll join a busy payroll team handling around 1,900 staff on a fortnightly and monthly cycle. This 3-month assignment offers a pathway to permanency with an office-based role plus one day a week from home.

The role uses Chris21 and AX, with strong Excel skills and a focus on accuracy. You’ll need at least 12 months payroll experience and be available to start soon through to the end of January.

Qualificações

• 12 months of payroll experience in a high-volume environment.
• Understanding of EBAs and Modern Awards is a plus.
• Solid Excel and general computer skills.
• Availability to start soon and stay through to the end of January.

Responsabilidades

• Process end-to-end fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
• Validate timesheet data and prepare payroll for bank submission.
• Post payroll into the finance system and process manual payments/adjustments.
• Run payroll reports and reconciliations and maintain employee data.
• Keep records accurate, confidential and compliant with legislation, awards and policy.

We are seeking Payroll Officers for a large industrial business in Acacia Ridge. You'll join an established payroll team processing fortnightly and monthly pays for around 1,900 employees. This is a 3-month assignment, and the right person has a real chance of going permanent. The role is office-based in Acacia Ridge, with one day a week from home once you're settled in.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Processing end to end fortnightly and monthly payrolls in Chris21
• Validating timesheet data from AX
• Preparing payroll for bank submission and posting into the finance system
• Processing manual payments and adjustments as needed
• Running payroll reports and reconciliations
• Entering and maintaining employee data in the HR system
• Keeping records accurate, confidential and compliant with legislation, awards and company policy

What I’m Looking For

• At least 12 months of payroll experience in a high-volume environment
• An understanding of EBAs and Modern Awards is a plus
• Solid Excel and general computer skills
• You own your work, meet your cut offs
• Available to start soon and stay through to the end of January
