C3Talent in Brisbane CBD is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join its two-person payroll team and manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities.

This fully office-based role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, reporting to the Payroll Manager. You will handle PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, deductions, and reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' payroll experience.
• Hands-on end-to-end payroll experience.
• Knowledge of Modern Awards, NES and payroll legislation.
• Intermediate MS Excel and Word.
• Strong numerical accuracy and payroll reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly end-to-end payrolls.
• Manage PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and employee deductions.
• Process leave, terminations and workers' compensation payments.
• Complete payroll, commission and General Ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and payroll system data.
• Respond to payroll queries and investigate discrepancies.
• Support statutory reporting, audits and process improvements.

• Brisbane CBD | Monday-Friday | Fully office-based
• End-to-end, multi-entity payroll | Experienced Payroll Manager

A well-established Queensland property development group is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join its Brisbane CBD corporate office.

Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you'll work within a close two-person payroll team and process end-to-end payroll across multiple entities and varied pay cycles.

Please note: this role is fully office-based Monday to Friday, with no WFH arrangement currently available. Standard hours are 8:30am-5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly end-to-end payrolls
• Manage PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and employee deductions
• Process leave, terminations and workers' compensation payments
• Complete payroll, commission and General Ledger reconciliations
• Maintain accurate employee records and payroll system data
• Respond to payroll queries and investigate discrepancies
• Support statutory reporting, audits and process improvements

To be considered, you will require:

• A minimum of two years' payroll experience
• Previous hands-on end-to-end payroll experience
• Knowledge of Modern Awards, National Employment Standards and payroll legislation
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Strong numerical accuracy and payroll reconciliation experience

Experience with HR3, broader finance functions or the real estate/property industry would be advantageous. A Certificate III or IV in Payroll Administration or Business would also be highly regarded.
