Job summary

Xrecruiter is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our finance team in Brisbane on a hybrid schedule, with options for part-time or full-time employment.

You will support end-to-end weekly payroll for our partner network, ensure data integrity, and stay compliant with awards and EBAs, while collaborating across departments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years payroll experience, and familiarity with 2cloudnine is a bonus. We value attention to detail and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in payroll, preferably in labour hire or recruitment.
• Experience with 2cloudnine payroll platform is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and awards/EBAs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end weekly payroll processing for multiple partners.
• Manage payroll inbox and respond to staff/partner queries in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy and compliance with relevant awards and legislation.
• Review and validate timesheets, pay rates and deductions.
• Weekly super lodgements and stapling super funds.
• Support payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve partner payroll queries promptly.
• Assist with process improvements and documentation to streamline payroll operations.

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our finance team on a part-time or full-time basis, supporting our growing partner network.

The role

Our payroll team is growing and we're seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to provide hands-on support to our payroll team. This is a hybrid role, combining time in our Brisbane office with the flexibility to work from home. You'll play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across our recruitment partner network. We want someone to start as part-time, but open to consider excellent candidates for full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
