Energy Bay is seeking a Payroll Manager based in Sydney CBD to oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with Australian regulations.

You will submit payroll reports to management and regulatory bodies, coordinate data with HR, and manage an outsourced payroll provider as needed. The role emphasizes data integrity, confidentiality, and timely salary payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably within the utilities sector.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements in Australia.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory bodies.
