Job summary

International Racehorse Transport in Melbourne Airport is seeking a Payroll & Finance Officer to join the finance team. This full-time, onsite role covers payroll, accounts payable and day-to-day finance across multiple entities.

Based in our Melbourne office with on-site parking. You will work with Finance, HR and operations to deliver accurate payroll, supplier payments (including international), reconciliations and month-end tasks, while driving process improvements and maintaining

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Experience with multi-entity finance environments.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll across multiple entities
• Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable
• Prepare and process supplier payments, including international payments
• Complete bank and supplier reconciliations
• Maintain payroll and employee records
• Assist with month-end finance activities
• Support foreign currency transactions
• Respond to payroll and finance-related enquiries
• Monitor changes to payroll, taxation and finance legislation and apply updates
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
