Job summary

InfoTrack is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to manage end‑to‑end payroll for 400+ employees across multiple entities. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing, support payroll‑related accounting activities, and assist with employee share schemes within a corporate environment.

You will collaborate with Finance and People & Culture to maintain data integrity, drive process improvements, and maintain high service levels for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting or Finance required or preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in end‑to‑end payroll in a corporate or multi‑entity environment (400+ employees).
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll, taxation, superannuation, and employment legislation.
• Experience with Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation returns.
• Experience with general ledger postings and account reconciliations.
• Exposure to employee share or equity plans is highly regarded.
• Working Excel skills and familiarity with payroll/HRIS systems (Rippling, NetSuite) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end payroll for 400+ employees across salaries, awards, contractors, PAYG, superannuation and STP.
• Prepare, post and reconcile payroll journals, provisions and clearing accounts; support month‑end/year‑end reporting, budgeting and audits.
• Administer employee share and equity plans including allocations, vesting, forfeitures and ESS reporting.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, tax and superannuation legislation; prepare and lodge payroll tax returns and workers compensation declarations.
• Partner with People & Culture, Finance, external administrators and tax advisors to resolve payroll queries and changes.
• Drive continuous improvement through payroll system automation, process efficiencies and data security.
