Job summary

SEEK AUSTRALIA is seeking a Payroll Lead to join our team in Sydney, NSW. You will manage payroll and time and attendance for our Australia and New Zealand workforce, delivering accurate weekly payroll and PAYG payments with superannuation contributions.

You will oversee end-to-end payroll processing, payroll tax calculations, and reporting to management. The role involves liaising on Centrelink matters and supporting year-end reconciliations with ATO lodgements, while driving process

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a lead payroll role.
• Experience with payroll for Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll and time and attendance records for AU/NZ teams.
• Conduct end-to-end weekly payroll processing and PAYG/superannuation payments.
• Prepare monthly payroll tax calculations and finance reporting.
• Generate reports for management including pay advices and superannuation details.
• Coordinate with Centrelink for parental leave and separation certificates.
• Assist with year-end reconciliation and ATO lodgements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate payroll processes.
