Qualifications

• 2–5 years in technology, payments, or infrastructure within banking/financial services.
• Understanding of Australian and New Zealand payments schemes and clearing arrangements.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing, treasury services, receivables, payables, and trade finance platforms.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a regulated environment.
• Experience with regulatory, industry, or scheme-driven technology initiatives.
• Proven record of managing production incidents, operational risk, and service resilience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and business continuity for the AU & NZ Services Cluster Technology team.
• Provide critical technology support for the local Services business across Payments, Liquidity, Trade, Investor Service, and Issuer Service.
• Embed within AU & NZ product and operations teams to provide direct technical support for core business functions.
• Navigate Citi platforms with in-country expertise to align with industry changes in a complex market.
• Identify and remediate region-specific risks, bottlenecks, and system dependencies in incident resolution, service delivery and change management.
• Ensure high service availability and meet requirements of local clients and stakeholders.
• Manage third-party technology vendors and outsourcing relationships with SLAs and policy compliance.
• Govern the scheme change management pipeline for payment rails with risk assessment and formal approvals.
• Oversee technical relationships and service for clearing partner banks to ensure connectivity and SLA compliance.
