Job summary

Citi AU & NZ Services Cluster Technology team is hiring to maintain operational resilience and regulatory compliance while delivering high-availability technology support for Payments, Liquidity, Trade, and Investor/Issuer Services. You will work directly with local product and operations teams and coordinate with global technology partners.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in technology, payments, or infrastructure within banking/financial services.
• Understanding of Australian and New Zealand payments schemes and clearing arrangements.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, treasury services, receivables, payables, and trade finance platforms.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a highly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory, industry, or scheme-driven technology initiatives.
• Proven track record managing production incidents, operational risk, and service resilience.
• Knowledge of technology governance, change management, risk frameworks, and operational resilience.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills across business, technology, operations, and executive audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex, fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance and business continuity for AU & NZ Services Cluster Technology.
• Provide high-availability tech support for Payments, Liquidity, Trade, Investor/Issuer Services.
• Embed within AU & NZ product and operations teams for direct technical support.
• Apply local domain expertise to address region-specific risks and dependencies.
• Ensure service availability and meet local client requirements.
• Manage third-party tech vendors and outsourcing relationships with SLAs.
• Govern the scheme change management pipeline for payment rails changes.
• Oversee connectivity and SLA compliance with clearing partner banks.
