Job summary

Australian Payments Plus in Sydney seeks a Payments Operations Analyst to support the integrity and performance of the payments ecosystem. You will work in the Operations & Delivery team, helping ensure systems run smoothly, onboard new members and provide ongoing operational support.

The role combines operational analysis, incident management and stakeholder engagement to resolve issues, drive process improvements and deliver a reliable service for members.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Operations Analyst or Payments Operations role.
• Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Experience supporting live applications and incident management.
• Knowledge of payment systems or financial services is desirable.
• Understanding of risk, QA and continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Approximately four+ years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Support operational performance and availability of AP+ payment systems.
• Analyse data and produce reports to inform decisions.
• Assist onboarding of new members and support existing participants.
• Investigate, manage and coordinate incident resolution.
• Contribute to risk management, QA activities and compliance.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve inquiries.
• Maintain operational documentation and drive continuous improvement.
