Australian Payments Plus is seeking a Business Analyst for a 12-month max-term contract to translate business needs into practical, fit-for-purpose solutions across Australia's payments ecosystem. You will assess business situations, understand stakeholder needs from end to end, and analyse how proposed changes affect current systems, processes, data and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent and 3–5 years in a Business Analyst role.
• Experience across the delivery lifecycle: elicitation, analysis, documentation, prioritisation and traceability.
• Knowledge of payments technology, IT systems and financial services.
• Experience working with external customers and vendors; strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Gather requirements across the full delivery lifecycle from discovery to implementation.
• Model business processes and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Conduct data modelling and mapping to support solution design.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and plan mitigations.
• Validate systems against requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Engage stakeholders to influence decisions and manage communications plans.
• Explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences and support testing and rollout.
