Job summary

Peninsula Australia is seeking a credit and collections specialist to manage a broad client portfolio and drive timely payments. You will proactively resolve overdue balances and disputes while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Customer Experience and Retention teams to meet SLAs and KPIs, delivering high-quality service and metrics-driven results. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit or collections role.
• Experience handling complaints, retention, or disputes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Managing a dedicated portfolio of approximately 500 clients
• Proactively managing overdue debts and implementing effective solutions.
• Dispute resolution for missed or overdue payments
• Working with pace and precision to ensure clients are contacted within set SLAs and KPIs
• Collaborating with various teams, including Accounts Receivable, Customer Experience and Retention.

What you’ll bring:

• A proven track record in credit or collections
• Experience with complaints handling, retention or dispute resolution.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• A strong eye for detail
• A \"can do\" positive attitude to deliver results.
