Job summary

GenesisCare in Albury is recruiting a Patient Services Officer (Medical Administration) to join our clinic on a permanent full-time basis. You will be the first point of contact, supporting patients and the clinical team to keep the clinic running smoothly.

The role involves reception, scheduling, billing support and maintaining patient records with a professional, empathetic approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical reception or Medicare billing is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Professional, calm and empathetic approach when supporting patients.
• Organised, adaptable and passionate about helping people.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day administrative support to the radiation oncology clinical team
• Book and manage patient appointments for consultations and treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records across clinical and administrative systems
• Assist with billing, receipting and payment processing
• Respond to phone and email enquiries with professionalism and care
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly by managing changing priorities and day to day administrative needs
